About Us

We, that’s my husband and my two children (18 and 22 years old), live in a single-family home in the Freising district.

Our family includes two Border Collies, Dingo and Annie, as well as the Mittelspitz dogs Nelli, Kenai and Briska-Ida.

Even as a child, I always wanted a dog. As soon as I moved in with my husband in 1994, I fulfilled this dream with our first Border Collie female Bandy. Two years later, Jack joined our household. And so one thing led to another.

We were very active in dog sports until the birth of our son. I got my instructor certificate in Agility with the blv, and was training director in our club for 2 years.

My husband was also an instructor in the blv, led the puppy group in our club, and passed the rescue dog aptitude test with Jack.

With the children, we reoriented ourselves. Family moved to the foreground. Since then, we only do dog sports for ourselves and our dogs.

When my daughter expressed the wish to have her own dog, the search began for a smaller family-friendly dog that could also be trained. That’s how Nelli, our first Mittelspitz, came into the house, and we were infected with the Spitz virus.

In my opinion, the Mittelspitz is a small all-rounder - long walks, days when less is going on, no problem as long as he can be there…
